Zelensky Proposes Installation of Ukrainian Drone Interception Teams and Radar at British Bases in Cyprus

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, proposed the installation of Ukrainian drone interception teams and radar at British Bases in Cyprus during a visit to the United Kingdom. This proposal was made in a speech to British MPs, where he emphasized that it could serve as a security model for Ukraine and potentially for all of Europe. Zelensky met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles III, discussing the continuation of British support for Ukraine, including military aid, training of Ukrainian forces, and cooperation in the defense industry. The Ukrainian President stated that the installation of Ukrainian teams could provide protection against drone attacks, similar to those carried out by Russia, and that this technology could be useful for all of Europe. Additionally, he expressed his concern about the division among Western leaders and the need for common ground between the United States and the United Kingdom in order to address the challenges in Ukraine and Iran.
