Yellow Warning in Effect – Rain, Storms and Snow Expected

A yellow warning is in effect for severe weather phenomena, issued by the Meteorological Service, valid until 6:00 PM today. Isolated but strong thunderstorms are expected in various areas of the island, with locally intense characteristics and rainfall that may reach 35-55 millimeters per hour. Sleet or snow is expected in the mountains. Tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy with the possibility of isolated showers in the north. The temperature will drop, with the possibility of frost in the higher mountains.
