Εδώ υπάρχει νομοθεσία που επιτρέπει σε δικαστή εκτός από την ποινή, να εξαναγκάζει κάποιον εμπρηστή να αποζημιώνει το κράτος για την αποκατάσταση του δάσους που έκαψε. Ακούσατε ποτέ να εκδοθεί τέτοια διαταγή; Από την άλλη, νεαροί τα σπάζουν κάθε λίγο στη Λεμεσό ή αλλού είτε έξω από το Τσίρειο είτε καίγοντας περιπολικά και ουδέποτε υποχρεώθηκε κάποιος να πληρώσει τις ζημιές. Τον λογαριασμό τον πληρώνει πάντα ο φορολογούμενος πολίτης. Νομοθεσίες υπάρχουν αλλά μένουν ανεφάρμοστες.
