Which Small Parties Will Enter Parliament - The Toughest Battle of the Elections

The battle to enter the House of Representatives is expected to be particularly fierce among the smaller parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Entry into Parliament is important for small parties due to the state funding and institutional role it offers. Election analysts note that there is a possibility that no small party will enter Parliament if the six largest parties gather a large percentage of the votes. The parties expected to fight for entry are EDEK, DIPA, the Ecologists' Movement and Volt. Statistics show that the six largest parties (DISY, AKEL, ELAM, ALMA, DIKO and Direct Democracy) have the highest chances of entering Parliament. However, predicting the outcome for smaller parties is difficult due to statistical error in polls. A significant percentage of voters remain undecided, making it even more difficult to predict the final result. In the 2021 elections, more than 52,000 voters voted for parties that did not enter Parliament, indicating that this vote could change the outcome.
