Weekend of Love and Giving 2025 at Aphrodite Hills Resort

This year’s Weekend of Love and Giving, organised by PERHA Group and Aphrodite Hills Resort was held on 28 to 30 November at Aphrodite Hills Resort, and was outstandingly successful.
The three-day event attracted a large number of visitors and supporters, all united by a meaningful common purpose: supporting the “One Dream One Wish” Association and the children who bravely fight serious illnesses every day.
The weekend was filled with laughter, festive spirit, and embraced the spirit of giving. The outdoor Christmas Market, children’s activities, and the impressive lighting of the Christmas Tree at the Village Square created joyful moments for kids and adults.
This year’s program was richer than ever, offering a complete range of festive activities, family experiences, and special moments that contributed to the magic of the event. Highlights that delighted visitors of all ages included:
- Christmas Tree Lighting accompanied by the “Musical Pathways” choir
- Outdoor Christmas Market with numerous festive stalls
- Visit from Santa Claus, who brought smiles to the youngest guests
- Escape Room for children and adults
- Sports activities and games at selected areas of the Resort
- Bouncy castles for endless fun
- Christmas-themed arts & crafts
- Festive face painting
- Mascot characters entertaining the children
- Festive rides on the Christmas train, a favourite activity among the little ones
- Children’s theatre performance in Greek – on Saturday and Sunday
- Children’s choir from Trinity School
The event was represented by the government through the Government Spokesperson, Mr. Konstantinos Letymbiotis, who attended on Saturday and delivered a brief speech.
Due to exceptionally high participation and demand, it has been announced that a second Weekend of Love and Giving will be held on the weekend of December 20–21, giving even more visitors the opportunity to support this important initiative. Festive train rides, a Christmas Market, bouncy castles, arts & crafts, cookie decorating, and pottery workshops are just some of the activities to look forward to during the second weekend, alongside another visit from Santa Claus.

The Cyprus Association for children with cancer and related diseases “One Dream One Wish” was founded by a group of parents and friends of children suffering from cancer, leukaemia, and other haematological diseases. All members of the Board of Directors, members, and friends of the Association offer their services voluntarily to achieve its objectives. The main lines of activity of the Association are three: fulfilling the wishes of children with cancer, financial support for their families, and providing psychological support to both the children and their families.
