Von der Leyen and the College of Commissioners to Revisit Cyprus

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will revisit Cyprus on January 15-16, 2026, accompanied by the College of Commissioners. The announcement was made by Commission Deputy Spokesperson Ariana Podesta during a briefing of accredited journalists in Brussels. The visit of the College of Commissioners will take place at the Port of Limassol on Friday, January 16. The remaining schedule of meetings for the President and the Commissioners has not yet been made public. This visit is a continuation of the effort to strengthen cooperation between the European Union and Cyprus, as well as to support Cyprus in various areas.
