The Thanos Hotels Group, the Amyth Hotel, and the curator of the Amyth Store are organizing an exhibition of the publications of archaeologist Vassos Karagiorgis, commemorating the fourth anniversary of his death. The exhibition will feature eighty selected publications from his personal archive, available for sale by his family, with the aim of introducing his work to a wider audience. His research, teaching, and excavation activities contributed to a reliable record of the history of ancient Cyprus, while his international recognition promoted Cyprus as a center of tradition and culture. The exhibition is part of the cultural proposals program of the Amyth Store and the policy of the Thanos Hotels Group to promote education and culture. The opening will take place on February 18th at 6:00 PM, with the presence of the Deputy Minister of Culture, Dr. Vasiliki Kassianidou. The exhibition will run from February 19th to 20th, with daily hours from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
