UAE: Terror Network Dismantled - Funded by Iran and Hezbollah

Security authorities in the United Arab Emirates announced the dismantling of a "terrorist network" allegedly funded and managed by Hezbollah and Iran. Members of the network have been arrested and are accused of money laundering, terrorist financing, and threatening national security, with the aim of undermining financial stability. The Lebanese Foreign Ministry condemned the "terrorist conspiracy" and offered the cooperation of Lebanese authorities to hold those responsible accountable, while also banning Hezbollah's military activities. Hezbollah and Iran have not commented on the allegations. This development comes after a similar announcement from Kuwait, where an organization linked to Hezbollah was revealed to be planning actions to undermine national security, with the seizure of weapons and drones. Hezbollah rejected Kuwait's allegations, calling them baseless. The incident occurs during a period of escalating tensions in the region, with Iran launching large-scale missile and drone attacks across the Gulf following the outbreak of the American-Israeli war.
