Two Brothers Handed Over to Police for Attempted Murder in Limassol

Two brothers, aged 30 and 23, who were wanted for the attempted murder of a 36-year-old man in Limassol, have been handed over to the Limassol TAE by the British Bases. The suspects were located on January 3rd in the sea area of Ormideia and arrested after their boat was intercepted. The attempted murder took place on December 20, 2025, with the perpetrators attacking the victim in a cafe, initially using stun devices and then injuring him with a sharp object. The 36-year-old was transported to a private hospital with a wound to his left shoulder blade. The brothers are being questioned and are expected to appear in Limassol District Court tomorrow for an arrest warrant.
