Twenty-Seven Years Since Ocalan's Arrest: Kurdish March in Nicosia

A group of Kurds living in Cyprus marched to the Greek Embassy in Nicosia to commemorate the memory of the Kurds who lost their lives and to protest the arrest of PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan 27 years ago. The protesters demand Ocalan's release and the recognition of Rojava. The march started from Latsia and headed to the Greek Embassy, where a black wreath was laid. In their statement, the Kurds of Cyprus expressed their solidarity with the Kurdish people and condemned the conspiracies against them. The march ended peacefully.
