Τουλάχιστον ένα τουρκικό F-16 απογειώθηκε από το παράνομο αεροδρόμιο της Τύμπου σήμερα το απόγευμα, σύμφωνα με την Yeni Duzen.
Σύμφωνα με στρατιωτικές πηγές που επικαλείται το τ/κ μέσο ενημέρωσης δεν υπάρχει κάποια έκτακτη κατάσταση την οποία κλήθηκαν να αντιμετωπίσουν τα μαχητικά αεροσκάφη ωστόσο ο λόγος της απογείωσης παραμένει άγνωστος.
Σημειώνεται ότι το μαχητικό έγινε αντιληπτό και στις ελεύθερες περιοχές με τον δημοσιογράφο Μιχάλη Μιχαήλ να αναρτά στα ΜΚΔ σχετικό βίντεο.

Turkish F-16 Flies Over Nicosia
A Turkish F-16 fighter jet took off this afternoon from the illegal airport in Tymbou, according to the Turkish Cypriot press. According to military sources cited by Yeni Duzen, there was no emergency situation requiring the takeoff, however the reason remains unknown. The fighter jet was also spotted in the free areas, with journalist Michalis Michael posting a related video on social media. The takeoff of the Turkish aircraft caused a stir, given the ongoing tension in the region.
