Trump: Over $5 Billion for Gaza Reconstruction via Peace Council

Former US President Donald Trump said he will announce on Thursday that member countries of the "Peace Council" have pledged to allocate more than five billion dollars for reconstruction and humanitarian needs in Gaza. In a post on social media platform Truth Social today, Trump wrote that member countries have also pledged to allocate thousands of people as personnel for a stabilization force under the auspices of the UN and to staff the local police force in the Palestinian enclave. The announcement comes at a critical time for Gaza, which has suffered massive destruction.
