A collision between two trains carrying tourists to Machu Picchu in Peru has resulted in at least fifteen injuries, with one person in serious condition. Reports indicate that a train driver lost his life, although this has not been officially confirmed. Ferrocarril Transandino, the railway operator, confirmed the collision of the two Inca Rail and PeruRail trains, reporting material damage and injuries.
