Tragedy in Crans Montana: Waitress Held Fireworks Before Fatal Fire

The 24-year-old waitress, Cyane Panine, has been identified as the person holding the fireworks that started the fatal fire at the nightclub in Crans Montana on New Year's Eve 2026. According to interrogation records, the club owner, Jessica Moretti, had asked Panine to “liven up the atmosphere” by putting fireworks in champagne bottles. Panine lost her life from asphyxiation in a pile of bodies behind a locked door. The owner stated that Panine was a close friend of his family and that they tried to revive her for over an hour, but it was too late. The family's lawyers argue that Panine followed the instructions of her employers and bears no responsibility for the tragic incident.
