Trade Unions Seek Meeting with President for Minimum Wage and Labor Issues

The trade unions SEK, PEO, and DEOK will seek a meeting with the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, to discuss labor issues, including the minimum wage and the EU directive on collective agreements. In addition, the Labor Advisory Board will meet at the end of the week with the participation of the Minister of Labor, trade union organizations, and employers. The trade unions have already held a coordination meeting and are preparing a memorandum for the President, covering issues such as the minimum wage and employment criteria for workers from third countries.
