Thousands of Apartments Without Heating in Kyiv After New Russian Attack

A new Russian aerial attack on Kyiv has left over 5,600 apartment buildings without heating, as temperatures have dropped to -14 degrees Celsius. The attack also caused water outages in large parts of the city and injured one woman. This strike comes shortly after an even more devastating attack on Kyiv's energy grid on January 9th, which left half the city without heating and electricity. Russia used unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles in the attack. Kyiv authorities are working to restore essential services, while a critical infrastructure facility in the Vinnytsia region has also been damaged.
