TEPAK Excluded from Agreement on Limassol Urban Planning

A disagreement has arisen between TEPAK (Technological University of Cyprus) and the municipalities of Limassol, Amathous, and Polemidia regarding the university's participation in a study for the urban planning of Limassol. The municipalities signed an agreement with the University of Cyprus and Frederick University, while TEPAK is not involved, which has prompted a reaction from the TEPAK Rector. The Rector expressed disappointment over the lack of information and invitation to contribute substantially to the project, given TEPAK's significant presence and expertise in the city. The disagreement appears to be related to previous disputes regarding developments in the Old Limassol Hospital. TEPAK reserves the right to disagree with the results of the study, given that they directly affect its activities.
