A recent survey by Analytica Market Research reveals anxiety and insecurity among Cypriot citizens due to the conflicts in the Middle East. The survey, conducted among 1010 individuals online, showed that 57% of participants do not feel safe in Cyprus, while 68% are worried about the situation's development. The majority (66%) believe that the defensive capabilities of the Republic of Cyprus are inadequate, while trust in the Government's crisis management reaches 43%. A significant percentage (32%) express a complete lack of trust. Citizens also do not feel adequately informed about how to react in an emergency, with a majority (61%) stating they would not temporarily leave Cyprus. The presence of foreign bases in Cyprus does not reassure citizens.
