SKEK: Nikolaou's Intervention on the Limassol Real Estate Market

Christos Nikolaou, president of the Cyprus Association of Real Estate Agents (SKEK), which is affiliated with the KΕVE, participated in a round table discussion at the 20th Property Development & Construction Conference & Exhibition, focusing on the prospects of the real estate market in Limassol. The discussion focused on developments and prospects in the province, as well as key trends expected to influence its course in the coming years. During the discussion, the dynamics of the real estate market in Limassol were analyzed, as well as the progress of luxury developments in residential and commercial properties, and the sources of demand from both the local and international markets. Particular reference was made to affordable housing, the prospects for housing and commercial spaces, and the role of Local Government in the planning and development of the city. The discussion also included the President of the Limassol Employers and Industrialists Federation, the Mayor of Limassol and representatives of land development companies. Mr. Nikolaou's intervention highlighted the importance of dialogue between stakeholders and the crucial role the real estate market plays in Limassol's development path over the next decade. The participation of SKEK in the event underlines the importance of the real estate sector to the Cypriot economy and the need for continuous information and adaptation to new market trends.
