According to the Fire Service, Limassol stations received the most calls (9), while Paphos also reported damage to vehicles from falling trees. In Famagusta, in addition to removing trees, the Fire Service was called to deal with dangerous situations with scaffolding and signs swept away by the wind. Meanwhile, the Police warned drivers to be particularly careful due to rainfall and strong winds, advising them to reduce speed, maintain safe distances, and have their headlights on. The Police report that the weather conditions are causing problems on the road network in many areas. The situation is expected to remain difficult as the bad weather continues.
