Schoolchildren from Attica Bring Life to Gavdos with Moving Parade

Students from five schools in Attica traveled to Gavdos to celebrate March 25th, offering a particularly touching parade. The initiative "As Long as There are Angels" from the 1st Primary School of Voula aimed to honor the roots, the Refugee Hellenism, Crete, and the inhabitants of Gavdos. The children paraded in traditional costumes from various regions of Greece, while also having the opportunity to get to know the place, the people, and their daily lives. This action aims to instill in children the value of giving, connection, memory, and responsibility towards others, beyond the comfort of modern life. The missions are self-funded and rely on the personal contribution and struggle of the parents.
