School Labs to Receive Major Upgrade

The Ministry of Education is promoting an extensive program to upgrade school laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Design & Technology in 62 Gymnasiums, 36 Lyceums, and 10 Six-Class schools, with a budget of €1.5 million. The modernization includes the installation of advanced equipment, such as 3D printers, laser engraving systems, fume hoods, UV-VIS spectrophotometers, wireless sensors, and virtual reality systems. The goal is to provide students with access to cutting-edge technology, comparable to what they will encounter in their academic careers and the job market, strengthening the connection between education and modern needs. The upgrade is considered a key pillar of educational reform and is expected to cultivate high-demand skills.
