Response Under Pressure to Controversial Video: "Anyone with Evidence of Funding Should Submit it to Authorities" Says Christodoulides

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, responded to the strong reactions caused by the controversial video, which allegedly records conversations about funding and access to investors in the Presidential Palace, by calling on anyone with evidence of direct or indirect funding, either during the election campaign or during his term in office, to submit it to the competent authorities. The President's statement comes at a time of increasing political pressure from parties, MPs, and public opinion, who are demanding explanations for the content of the video. The government continues to refer to possible 'hybrid activity', without however providing a detailed position on the substance of the dialogues. Political questions remain regarding the individuals appearing in the video, the assumption of political responsibility, and the activation of independent institutions to investigate the case.
