Record Projects and Spending Planned for Paphos

Paphos is expected to see a record number of projects and spending in the coming years, with a total of 75 large and smaller development projects or infrastructure projects planned for 2026 and 2027, at a total cost of over €230 million. The meeting in Paphos with the participation of the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works confirmed these plans. At the top of the list is the Paphos-Chrysochous road, which will be built with four lanes of traffic and additional access via Mesa Geitonia. At the same time, the improvement of the existing Paphos-Polis road is being promoted until the completion of the new highway. Also planned are the construction of the Paphos Western Bypass and the resolution of environmental pending issues for the new road to the airport. In addition, significant improvements will be made to the road network of Geroskipou, Peyeia and the suburban area of Paphos Municipality. Important projects such as the marina and other development projects will also be promoted. This investment is expected to give a significant boost to the economy of Paphos and improve the quality of life of its residents.
