Rainfall in March has already reached 176% of the normal amount, according to preliminary data from the Department of Meteorology. From the 1st to 8 am on March 26th, the average total rainfall amounted to 108.8 millimeters, compared to 61.9 millimeters which is the normal rainfall for the entire month. The areas of Stavros tis Psokas, Pano Panagia and Platanias received the highest amount of rainfall. Specifically, 236 millimeters fell in Stavros tis Psokas (202% of normal), 193 millimeters in Platanias (172%), 192.6 millimeters in Pano Panagia (189%), 175.1 millimeters in Saitta (210%) and 166.7 millimeters in Prodromos (138%). In the last 24 hours, heavy rainfall was recorded in Kellaki (36 millimeters), Saitta (28.9 millimeters) and Pano Panagia (27.5 millimeters).
