President to Present Three-Year Governance Assessment in March

The Deputy Minister to the President, Irene Piki, announced that the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, will present a comprehensive assessment of his three-year governance in March. Simultaneously, the annual planning for the fourth year will be announced on February 5th. The announcement was made after a cabinet meeting where the 2025 Annual Plan was discussed. Ms. Piki emphasized that the government's planning does not remain at the level of announcements but translates into measurable results and concrete policies for the benefit of citizens. Data was presented showing that 67% of the actions have already been completed or are in the final stages of implementation. Among the implemented interventions are significant reforms such as tax reform, the reform of teacher evaluation, the operation of the Business Service Center, and the expansion of the fast-track licensing system. Also mentioned were the operation of two technical high schools, the opening of the competitive electricity market, and the operation of Accident and Emergency Departments. Particular emphasis was placed on the digital transformation of the state, with the introduction of 60 new digital services that simplify procedures, reduce bureaucracy, and improve the daily lives of citizens. The government is committed to modernizing the state, creating a modern, efficient, and citizen-friendly state.
