President Christodoulides to Depart for France and Belgium Tomorrow – To Inaugurate Cypriot Exhibits at the Louvre

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, will depart tomorrow for France and Belgium as part of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union. In Paris, he will inaugurate two exhibitions showcasing Cyprus's cultural heritage and its ties with France and Europe, one at the National Library of France and one at the Louvre Museum. The exhibitions are a collaboration between the Deputy Ministry of Culture and French institutions and include archaeological and historical documents, as well as modern digital applications. The exhibition at the Louvre will be open until June 2026, while the one at the National Library will be open until June 2026. Subsequently, President Christodoulides will travel to Belgium to participate in an informal European Council meeting on European competitiveness. He will also participate in a meeting with leaders from Germany and Italy on the same topic. The Council will discuss issues such as strengthening the single market and adapting Europe to new challenges. President Christodoulides will be accompanied by the Government Spokesperson, the Deputy Minister for European Affairs, and government officials. The Deputy Minister of Culture will accompany him in Paris.
