Platinum with a Mission: AED 8.8 Million Raised by Emirates Auction for Children Worldwide

The Emirates Airline Foundation and Emirates Auction raised AED 8.8 million (approximately USD 2.4 million) through an auction to support humanitarian programs for vulnerable children around the world. The auction, which ran from December 17, 2025, to January 17, 2026, attracted over 900 bids from participants in 131 countries. Seven rare Platinum Skywards member numbers were offered in the auction. The highest single bid reached AED 1.6 million. Two bidders secured 20-year Platinum memberships, while five others obtained 15-year memberships. The top bidders came from various countries, including the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, and others. The proceeds will be used to launch new projects and enhance existing programs supporting children and communities in nine countries, in collaboration with 14 non-governmental organizations. The Emirates Airline Foundation and Emirates Auction announced that they will establish annual auctions to further bolster their humanitarian work. The President of Emirates Airline and the Emirates Airline Foundation, Sir Tim Clark, emphasized the importance of the initiative and thanked the global Skywards member community for their response. This generosity will have a significant impact on the lives of hundreds of children around the world.
