According to Turkish media reports, Syrian army units have deployed around Hasakah, as part of a ceasefire agreement and integration with the Kurdish YPG/SDG forces. Clashes have subsided, but Syrian forces remain in the Serin area. Simultaneously, Turkish special forces are conducting operations in Iraq and Syria, aiming to combat ISIS and prevent the escape of prisoners. Iraq has placed its borders on high alert, constructing trenches and utilizing thermal surveillance to prevent potential threats. The Turkish Interior Minister warned that the country will not tolerate any provocation that could disrupt peace, referring to protests organized by pro-Kurdish parties. Meanwhile, the PKK has pledged to never abandon the Syrian Kurds, who are under attack. A senior PKK official stated that the organization will do whatever is necessary to protect them, emphasizing that the attacks in Rojava target the entire Kurdistan region. A meeting between the Syrian President and the leader of the YPG/SDG ended without an agreement, with the status of Hasakah being the main point of contention. Turkey continues to express its concerns about the situation in Syria and warn of potential provocations.
