Paphos Announces Events for March 25th and April 1st

The Paphos Municipality has announced the program of events for the celebration of March 25th and April 1st. On Tuesday, March 24th, a city-wide celebratory event will be held at the Markideio Municipal Theatre with a speech by Theodoros D. Gotsis, Historian – Diplomat, Press Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The artistic program will include a musical performance for the Exodus of Messolonghi by the Choir of PASYDY Paphos and dances by the "Aphrodite" Folklore Group of Geroskipou. The traditional parade will take place on Wednesday, March 25th, on Georgiou Griva Digeni Avenue. The events will continue on Wednesday, April 1st, with a doxology and wreath-laying ceremony at the Cathedral of Saint Theodore, followed by a reception at the Paphos Officers' Club. The Municipality of Paphos and the Coordinating Committee for the Celebration of National Anniversaries invite the public to participate in these events, honoring history and national anniversaries. The program is designed to offer a dignified and festive atmosphere, while also highlighting the cultural heritage of the region.
