Pan-Cypriot Campaign to Support Vulnerable Families for Easter Begins

The Pan-Cypriot Coordinating Council for Volunteering (PSSC) has launched its 12th pan-Cypriot campaign, titled 'Adopt a Family for Easter', which will run until March 31st. The campaign aims to provide assistance to economically vulnerable families so they can celebrate Easter with dignity. The PSSC emphasizes that the campaign relies on the contributions and donations of the Volunteering Network, which consists of partners from all sectors of society. The operating procedure involves the distribution of donations by the provincial coordinating councils for volunteering to families who have applied and meet the criteria for economic vulnerability. The PSSC notes that since 2015, through similar campaigns, it has helped thousands of families. The success of the campaigns is due to the wide participation of volunteers and supporters, as well as the effective management and transparency of the processes. The PSSC highlights the importance of solidarity and social responsibility in addressing social challenges. The 'Adopt a Family for Easter' campaign is an important initiative to support the economically disadvantaged and promote social cohesion. The PSSC calls on citizens to offer their help to make Easter a joyful time for everyone.
