Mousiouttas: Government Studying Ways to Respond to Current Tourism Situation

The government and the Ministry of Labor are studying the situation in the tourism industry, which has been affected by the war in the Middle East, in order to decide on appropriate response measures. The Minister of Labor, Marinos Mousiouttas, stated that the evaluation of the data will lead to an appropriate response. During a meeting with EDEK, issues such as the proportional 12% reduction in pensions before the age of 65 and the repayment of the state's debt to the Social Insurance Fund were discussed. The government's goal is to increase low pensions and complete pension reform.
