Mitsotakis: 'Remove Every Threat to Our Relations' - Erdogan: 'Solution Based on International Law'

Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Ankara and expressed their shared belief that all threats to Greek-Turkish relations must be removed in order to resolve issues calmly and based on international law. The two leaders discussed for about 1.5 hours and signed six agreements and a joint declaration. Mitsotakis emphasized the value of dialogue and the need to avoid crises, while Erdogan stated that issues can be resolved based on international law. The agreements cover cooperation in areas such as culture, research, technology, earthquake preparedness, and ferry connections.
