Mitsotakis Meets with Erdogan in Ankara

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara. The meeting took place at the Presidential Palace and was preceded by a brief exchange of greetings between the two leaders. Mr. Mitsotakis arrived at Ankara Airport shortly after 2:15 PM and was welcomed by Turkish officials. Prior to the meeting, Erdogan stated that the goal is to contribute to peace in the region. Following the meeting between the two leaders, a High-Level Cooperation Council will be held, followed by joint statements and a dinner hosted by the Turkish President. During the visit, several agreements and declarations of intent are expected to be signed in areas such as natural disasters, technology, research, biotechnology, agricultural technology, and trade.
