Matosado Offered Nobel Peace Prize to Trump - His Response

Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado offered the Nobel Peace Prize she was awarded to Donald Trump during their meeting at the White House. Machado stated that the offer symbolized recognition of Trump's commitment to freedom, drawing a parallel to a historical gesture by General Lafayette to Simon Bolivar. Machado described the meeting as “wonderful” and part of her efforts to secure a role for Trump in the future governance of Venezuela. Trump responded positively to the offer, calling it a “wonderful gesture of mutual respect.” However, the Nobel Committee has clarified that the prize cannot be transferred to others. Machado is seeking Trump's support for the restoration of democracy in Venezuela.
