Σύλληψη 43χρονου για οδήγηση υπό την επήρεια αλκοόλης με ένδειξη 148μg% αντί 22μg%
Γύρω στις 8:20 χθες βράδυ, ανακόπηκε όχημα για έλεγχο στην οδό Αγίας Άννας στο Στρόβολο. Από έλεγχο των στοιχείων του οδηγού, διαπιστώθηκε ότι επρόκειτο για 43χρονο, ο οποίος παρουσίαζε σημάδια μέθης.
Σύμφωνα με την Αστυνομία, ο 43χρονος μεταφέρθηκε στα γραφεία της Τροχαίας Λευκωσίας όπου υποβλήθηκε σε τελικό έλεγχο αλκοόλης, με θετική ένδειξη 148μg% αντί 22μg% που είναι το ανώτατο από τον νόμο όριο.
Ο 43χρονος αφού συνελήφθη, τέθηκε υπό κράτηση ενώ αναμένεται να παρουσιαστεί εντός της ημέρας ενώπιον του Επαρχιακού Δικαστηρίου Λευκωσίας, για άμεση καταχώρηση υπόθεσης εναντίον του, σε σχέση με το τροχαίο αδίκημα το οποίο διέπραξε.

Man Arrested for Drunk Driving with Extremely High Alcohol Level
A 43-year-old man was arrested in Nicosia for driving under the influence of alcohol. During a check, it was found that the man was driving with an alcohol level of 148μg% in his blood, far exceeding the legal limit of 22μg%. The check took place on Agias Annas Street in Strovolos, where police officers noticed that the driver showed signs of intoxication.
