Louvre Museum Closed Due to Staff Strike

The Louvre Museum announced it would remain closed on Monday, for the third time in a month, due to a staff strike. The strikers are demanding more hires, higher wages, and better maintenance of the museum, which is the most visited museum in the world. The museum's administration announced that the two previous days of closure in December and early January resulted in a loss of revenue of at least one million euros. At the same time, plans for a robbery at the museum were revealed.
