Latsi Port Expansion to Begin Within Six Months

Work on the expansion of the port in Latsi, Paphos, is expected to begin by June 2026. The project, with a budget of 52 million euros, will add 184 new berths and create 4,500 square meters of land-based support infrastructure, including maintenance areas, restaurants, and offices. The port will be the first 'green' port in Cyprus, with an emphasis on the circular economy and renewable energy sources. The necessary studies have already been submitted and approval from the General Accounting Office is expected for the tender process.
