Larnaca Tourism Development Plan Focuses on Authenticity and Accessibility

The President of the Larnaca Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP), Dinos Leukaritis, stated that tourism forecasts for 2026 in Larnaca are positive. ETAP is preparing to implement a new action plan to upgrade, promote, and enrich Larnaca's tourism product, with an emphasis on preserving the area's authenticity. The new plan includes improvements to the accessibility of tourist sites, enhancing green spaces, and creating tourism clusters, such as one for the nine honey villages in the mountainous region of Larnaca. Issues of beach erosion, such as in Oroklini, will also be addressed, as well as problems affecting tourism, such as the implementation of road works, visual pollution, and access to public transport. ETAP will continue its cooperation with the Municipality of Larnaca and other municipalities in the province, as well as promotion activities for the mountain communities.
