Kourion Municipality Equips Vehicles with Mobile Sirens for Potential Threats

The Municipality of Kourion has prepared vehicles equipped with mobile sirens to warn citizens in the event of a threat. While the Ypsonas area is already covered by sirens, the Municipality of Kourion has requested official information from the Ministry of Interior to extend the siren network to the entire territory of the Municipality. Citizen awareness is being carried out through social media posts. Mayor Pantelis Georgiou emphasized the need to cover the entire Municipality, as only Ypsonas currently has a siren system. The implementation of preparedness measures reflects the Municipality's readiness to address potential risks and protect residents.
