Jeffrey Epstein Attempted to Buy Moroccan Palace Day Before Arrest – New Revelations

New evidence released by the U.S. Department of Justice reveals that Jeffrey Epstein attempted to purchase a luxury palace in Morocco, named Bin Ennakhil, one day before his arrest in July 2019 on charges of sex trafficking. Epstein had signed a wire transfer of $14.95 million to purchase the palace, which is located in the Palmeraie area of Marrakech. He had expressed interest in the property since 2011, but disagreements over the price delayed the agreement. The timing of the money transfer coinciding with his arrest sparked speculation that Epstein may have been seeking a safe haven in Morocco, which does not have an extradition treaty with the United States. However, there is no evidence to support this theory. Ultimately, the sale did not go through, as Epstein's accountant canceled the wire transfer a few days after his arrest.
