Jasmine: From the Xyliatos Fence… to the Embrace of Life

The Citizens' Cooperation Movement condemns the abandonment of newborn puppies in the Xyliatos area, describing it as an act of abuse and illegal. The case involves seven puppies that were thrown away like “trash,” and only one survived thanks to adoption by a female dog and the care of a private individual. The Movement emphasizes the importance of individual responsibility and animal protection, as well as the need to stop the barbarity of abandonment. It states that society is divided between those who cause pain to animals and those who try to save them. Warm thanks are expressed to Vasilis Pentafkas, the legal caretaker and dog breeder who adopted the puppy, as well as to Andreas Christofi for his contribution. The Movement calls for reflection on the kind of society we want to live in, where animals are protected and respected.
