Israeli FM on Larijani: “There was a $10 million bounty, we did it for free” – Who else was on the State Department’s list

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar made a particularly scathing reference to the neutralization of Ali Larijani, stating that “there was a $10 million bounty on his head, we did it for free.” The statement was made during a press conference, referring to the US State Department's “Rewards for Justice” program, which offers up to $10 million for information on leaders of Iranian terrorist organizations. The State Department's announcement concerned a list of officials, including Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib, Deputy Chief of Staff Ali Asghar Hejazi, Brigadier General Yahya Rahim Safavi, Brigadier Eskandar Momeni, and Secretary of the Supreme Council Ali Larijani. The program offers informants the opportunity to relocate outside of Iran as protected witnesses. According to the State Department, these officials command and direct sections of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which are involved in terrorist activities around the world.
