Στέλεχος της Χαμάς σκοτώθηκε σε ισραηλινή επιδρομή στον Λίβανο την περασμένη εβδομάδα, σύμφωνα με τον στρατό και τη Σιν Μπετ.
Η επιδρομή σκότωσε τον Γουαλίντ Μοχάμεντ Ντιμπ, «ένα ανώτερο στέλεχος στο χρηματοοικονομικό δίκτυο της τρομοκρατικής οργάνωσης Χαμάς», αναφέρει κοινή δήλωση.
Οι Ισραηλινές Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις και η Σιν Μπετ αναφέρουν ότι ο Ντιμπ ήταν υπεύθυνος για τη μεταφορά κεφαλαίων σε διάφορα τμήματα της Χαμάς στον Λίβανο, τη Δυτική Όχθη και άλλες τοποθεσίες, καθώς και για την «στρατολόγηση και τη διεύθυνση τρομοκρατικής δραστηριότητας από τη Συρία και τον Λίβανο».
