Iran's Arsenal: A Look at its Missile Systems and Range

Iran has developed an extensive arsenal of ballistic and cruise missiles over the past three decades, which forms a key pillar of the country's deterrence strategy. The missiles are categorized by range: short-range (up to 500 km), medium-range (up to 800 km), long-range (up to 1,700 km), and very long-range (up to 2,500 km). According to a map by Al Jazeera, these missiles can hit targets in much of the Middle East, as well as in regions of Southeastern Europe, Central Asia, and North Africa. The range of some missiles extends to Cyprus.
