Iran Strikes Gulf Countries in Response to Alleged Attack

Iran is carrying out strikes against Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, in response to the attack allegedly carried out by Israel and the United States. The attacks are raising concerns about further escalation in the region. Iran had warned that it would respond to any attack against it. According to reports, Iran is targeting countries that maintain close ties with the United States, while Oman, which plays a mediating role, has not been targeted. In the United Arab Emirates, two people were killed and four others injured in a fire caused by missile debris. A fire also broke out at the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai. The Emirati authorities announced that they intercepted 137 missiles and 209 drones launched by Iran. The country warned that it reserves the right to respond to the attacks. The situation in the region remains tense and there is fear of further escalation.
