Iran Denies Seeking Talks with US, Turkey Urges Gradual Resolution of Disputes

Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated that he has not contacted US Special Envoy Steve Witkof nor requested negotiations, responding to President Trump's references to potential military intervention. Araghchi emphasized that Tehran is open to consultations through mediators, but not under threats. Simultaneously, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed his country's willingness to participate in any process to prevent war, within the framework of international law. Turkey's Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, called on the US to resolve its disputes with Iran gradually, starting with the nuclear program, and warned that a comprehensive agreement would be difficult for Tehran to accept.
