IAEA: Iran Stores Highly Enriched Uranium in Underground Facility

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reports in a confidential report that Iran is storing enriched uranium, with a purity of up to 60%, in an underground facility in Isfahan. This level of enrichment is close to 90%, which is considered ideal for building nuclear weapons. The report states that the facility was hit in previous airstrikes but remains largely intact. The IAEA is calling on Iran to allow inspections of all its nuclear facilities, amid negotiations with the US on Tehran's nuclear program, which recently concluded without progress. This report reinforces concerns about Iran's nuclear activities and lack of transparency.
