Foot-and-Mouth Disease: All Animals Culled in Positive Units in Livadia

As part of measures to limit the spread of foot-and-mouth disease, authorities have culled all animals in positive units in Livadia. No new cases have been recorded so far. All culling of animals in infected livestock units in Nicosia and Larnaca has been completed, including the latest, an illegal unit with cattle in Livadia. The situation is being closely monitored by the Ministry of Agriculture.
