The deceased, originally from Crete, was born in 1951 and began his television career in the 1980s, participating in the show 'Three in the Air'. He gained wider recognition as the presenter of ANT1's morning news program, which he hosted from 1992 to 2025. Giorgos Papadakis' show is considered the first chronological morning news program on Greek television. The journalist completed his presentation cycle with emotion on July 4, 2025, having left his mark on the field of journalism.
